Guadalquivir Itinerary

Along both banks of the Guadalquivir River…

Runs along the perimeter of the historic center. View the main buildings and unique landmarks of Seville (Plaza de España, Torre del Oro, Triana Bridge, etc.). Park for a few minutes to visit Plaza de España on foot.
The route proceeds clockwise along the historic city center’s ring road and crosses the Guadalquivir River four times, via its different branches, passing through Triana and Isla de la Cartuja. Leaving Isla de la Cartuja, you will closely observe the Guadalquivir Dock, the San Vicente neighborhood where the Basilica of Jesús del Gran Poder is located, the Torre de los Perdigones, the Basilica of La Macarena, the Walls of Seville, the Gates of Osario, Carmona, and La Carne, the Murillo Gardens (located behind the Alcázar of Seville and the Santa Cruz neighborhood), the magnificent Old Tobacco Factory, the Statue of El Cid, the Prado Park, the Pavilion of Portugal, and Plaza de España, where you will stop for a few minutes. Afterwards, you will see María Luisa Park, Plaza de América, San Telmo Palace, the Torre del Oro, the Jardines de la Caridad, the Maestranza Bullring of Seville, and the Triana Bridge.
